Alben's chair started in the high school cosmetology room. Between classes he was cutting everyone's hair, and his cosmo teacher backed him the whole way, letting him cut and learn right there in the room. After school he cut with his best friend. The two of them pooled their money into clippers and tools they shared, and turned a basement into a real barbershop, with a proper station, a mirror and a leather barber chair. He picked up the clippers at 16, learning on a corded Wahl Senior and an Andis T-Outliner, and never put them down.

Straight out of high school he went to work in a barbershop and, slowly but surely, locked in the right clients, the ones who are now regulars for life. Years behind the chair made him a master barber, and he built AABlendz Studio on one rule: every cut leaves perfect. His chair is premium time with a full consult, his own hands start to finish, and the standard the whole shop is measured against.
